Swing-Looper

Swing Looper Support

Swing Looper turns your iPhone or iPad into an automatic golf-swing camera. Its AI detects and records each swing on its own and instantly replays it in a slow-motion loop — no manual recording, no editing.

Getting Started

Swing Looper has two modes. Tap the mode button to toggle between them — the button always shows the current mode.

  1. In Live mode, position the device for a down-the-line, face-on, or from-behind view. Make sure the player is visible from head to feet.
  2. Tap the mode button so it shows Swing.
  3. Swing. The app detects the shot, captures it, and loops it automatically. No need to reset — it is always ready for the next swing.

Your first three captures are free. A subscription with a 7-day free trial unlocks unlimited use.

Reviewing Swings

Each capture loops automatically for immediate review.

Two-Device Mode (Camera + Viewer)

Use two iOS devices connected directly to each other — no Wi-Fi network or hotspot needed. A typical setup places an iPhone at the tee as the Camera and keeps an iPad nearby as the Viewer, but either device can take either role.

In Live, the Viewer becomes a real-time practice mirror from the Camera’s angle — including down-the-line views a physical mirror cannot provide. In Swing, the Viewer arms the Camera and receives every detected swing for review.

  1. In Settings, choose Camera on the filming device and Viewer on the other.
  2. Tap Pair Device on both devices and accept the pairing. Pairing is needed only once.
  3. Control Live/Swing, camera options, and the capture window from the Viewer — the Camera follows automatically.

The Camera screen shows its link status (Waiting for Viewer / Connected to Viewer) and the current mode. It may dim to save battery; capture continues and a tap wakes it.

Camera Options

Tap the camera icon while viewing the live feed to choose the front or back camera, an available back lens, and 30 or 60 fps. Use 60 fps for smoother slow motion; use 30 fps for smaller two-device transfers.

The local front-camera preview mirrors like a selfie. Captures and the Viewer keep the camera’s true orientation.

Adjusting Captured Clip Length

The field-tested Default capture window works for most swings. To fine-tune future captures, open Settings > Capture Window:

Changes apply from the next capture.

Saving and Sharing Swings

Tap the save icon to add the current swing to the Library with player, club, camera angle, shot shape, notes, and favorite tags.

In the Library you can search and filter, edit tags, share videos (AirDrop or any share-sheet app), or save them to Photos — one at a time or several at once with Select.

Settings

The gear icon opens device roles and pairing, sound, display, playback, camera dimming, capture-window, and swing-history settings.
